Battle Pet ability "Stoneskin"

With the new crop of pets that have come out with the Shadowlands expansion, I have started having to level pets again. Figured I would just continue to do the trainer rounds this expansion as I have others. I was battling the Kun-lai summit trainer when I noticed the Anubisath Idol's ability Stoneskin, no longer seems to work as it did previously. Put the stoneskin up with the rabbit and first round it works as it did previously, no damage, no debuff. On the second round however he takes 1 damage per pass of stampede and on the 3rd round of that ability he takes 84 damage per pass.

Does anyone know if this is intended or a bug?

It was listed in their shadowlands changes. abilities with fixed damage values for buffs/debuffs now happen after multipliers instead of before.

Stampede damage increases each round so now it will hit through stoneskin.
