Giraffe Calf question
Hello,
Happy New Year's!
For a fighting team with the Giraffe Calf, is it better to have both of its healing abilities? Or just 1? Thank you!
Regards,
Kristy.

Re: Giraffe Calf question
Don't think a lot of people have lots of experience with that pet...
Also it's not an easy question to answer, as it depends on what the rest of your team is, and why you're wanting to have that pet in your team.
Let's look at the options:
Tranquility vs Survival: I'm not a big fan of Survival, unless maybe on a super fast pet, in which case it will actually buy you a round if you use it well.
Giraffe Calf has 289 speed at 25, which is good but not great.
So for Slot 2, I'd go with Tranquility.
Then Headbutt or Bleat: I really like Headbutt, good damage, plus chance to stun.
Bleat is handy too, as it heals your whole team. The best option here really depends on what you want to do with that pet.
If you want to have it in your team as pure support, using Bleat to heal your team and Tranquility to make it harder/longer to kill, then Bleat is the right choice.
If you want to have it actually deal some damage to the other team, then Headbutt is probably a better choice, otherwise you'll spend most of your time healing and won't do much damage at all.
Hope this helps!

Re: Giraffe Calf question
In things related to MMOs, both in-game and out, when a question is asked and not answered, it generally means the people who read the question don't have an answer. So rather than replying with "I don't know", they simply don't reply. One can argue the merits of this philosophy, but in my experience it's rather universal across platforms & games.
Please don't assume you're being ignored or that folks are being mean to you you if you don't get an answer to your question.

Well, Zaelo's reply has been up for longer than your first post was when you complained about the lack of replies.
About time you thanked him, what?

Re: Giraffe Calf question
I use Hoof, Tranquility and Head Butt. This pet totally wrecks most wild pets by itself. I usually lead with headbutt... if it stuns follow up witha free shot if not hit tranquility to get a tickle heal going... then hoof it until headbutt is available again. Biggest problems come from Flying and Mechanical pets. Best of luck to you.
Re: Giraffe Calf question
Dragon Kite would be the best pick against the Giraffe Calf
Unless the Giraffe Calf is using the critter attack for Slot 1 and Bleat in Slot 3.. in which case Anubisath Idol, Curious Wolvar Pup and Grunty would be best fit.
I love my overly complicated pet family affinities table... lol
