For my latest team I've been working on a magic themed one.

I was thinking Kirin Tor Familiar, Nexus Whelpling, and Mana Wyrmling. This would be Elemental, Magic, Dragon, so a good variation of pet types. The ability Mana Surge does additional damage under Arcane Winds, seems like a good team.

However I was also thinking about things, like using Arcane Eye. Lofty Libram doesn't really seem to have all that many great abilities, but Arcane Eye has Psychic Blast, which does double damage under Arcane Winds. Who would I toss out to replace though? It seems the Kirin Tor Familiar doesn't hold his weight, but he is my favorite pet in the game. :\

Anyways, what do you guys think?

I assume you mean PVP team... Anyhoo, I say go for it

However, I'm not sure how effective a magic-based team will be. Or for that matter, any team that's based on a single ability type. A team based on magic abilities would have bonus damage mainly on one pet type (Flying) and would have weak damage against mechs. How popular are flying pets or mechs for PVP?
