For PVE, I use Yellow Moth P/P a lot as my tamer aquatic pets' killer. I also use Brilliant Kaliri to finish of any beast of fable with Predatory Strike (note: this is going to be nerfed hard soon).

For PVP, I guess it will depend on the strategy you're going for. I'll leave it to the more PVP-experienced folks here to post their choices.

Darkmoon grow is pretty nice too.

Two flyers that I use a lot are crow and gryphon hatchling. The first hits like a truck, even against nonaquatics. The gryphon is just a personal fave, as I bought it from the pet store. Those and a life exchanger are my team for aquatic beasts of fable.

i really like using a moth. or ill get a flying pet i think looks cool , like the undead carrion looking one or the pterodactyl. i level em in the vale , where the beast of fable is. a lot of aquatic pets and not a lot of traffic there , i just power level em there. but a moth is my favorite so far , strong damage and they have that cocoon move to help your damage reduction.

I like my crow too. And although it isn't a flying type it has flying attacks - my nether faerie dragon is also fantastic.
