Just met a Cheater
I just played a PvP Pet Battle against a cheater and lost. . He could hit my pet three times in a row with hits around 1400 damage without me being able to do anything. I switched to next pet. Again three hits with 1400 damage each.
I reported him in a ticket.
Did anyone of you encountered such a thing yet?

Did you pay notice to what pets he used?
Re: Just met a Cheater
Yes, he had three Kun-Lai Guys. Do not know how they are called in English.
Re: Just met a Cheater
I think this is one of those negatives of not knowing who you are fighting , unless we all name our pets after our toons..
Re: Just met a Cheater
It does seem like a lot but if you face your nemesis pet, and with buffs, debuffs, weather effects and a bit of luck (on his part), you can see those numbers. I'm curious to know more about your team, and even more curious as how you could possibly cheat in pet battles.

Re: Just met a Cheater
I heard about this cheating before with exactly 1400 damage. Gladly I never encountered it myself. It's highly unlucky within a normal battle to hit the exact same amount several (4 times, at least, for the OP) times in a row. Also, if it is a team with 3 times Kun-Lai Runt, it's highly unlikely to hit over 1k with just one single hit.Dash wrote:It does seem like a lot but if you face your nemesis pet, and with buffs, debuffs, weather effects and a bit of luck (on his part), you can see those numbers. It is good you reported him! But it is making things hard as you are not able to see the name and thus cannot report his/her specific account and you just have to hope the blizzard rep will take the effort of finding the right battle / person etc. I just hope blizz finds a solution to this.
Re: Just met a Cheater
Hopefully if this is a cheat the fact that it's hitting exactly 1400 damage multiple times in a row (which really is amazingly suspicious, and this isn't the first instance of exactly that that I've heard of) will make it easier for Blizzard to track down the people doing it. They should be able to go through their logs and narrow down people who keep doing that exact damage in pet battles over and over again.

Damn, I didn't think it was weird like that... oO
Oh dear, Hodir, what did them botters 'n cheaters come up with this time *sigh*

Re: Just met a Cheater
why on earth would anyone cheat in pet battles, anyways? for a few achievements? sounds like a big risk (account ban) for a small reward...

Re: Just met a Cheater
I hope he in turn reported you for using cheater health pets. As far as I know there aren't any pets w/ 4200 health (1400x3,) unless you figured out how to tame the Beasts of Fable, in which case that's a whole diff level of cheaterage
Re: Just met a Cheater
You can inflate health with sunlight, then heal up.

oh my god ..this thread is tooo funny. I cant stop laughing.

Hi,
never saw something like this: instant 1400 hits without setup time. Its possible to do that much in a round but only with setup time.
example: turret + thunderweather + more damage taken on hit debuff, but needs several rounds to setup.
But frankly: next time please provide pet battle logs and/or some screenshots.
