i have saved several stones, and i would like to know which of my uncommon and other pets i would be wise to "stone"

most of my pets are stoned. i found they fight best when they've just gotten stoned, but after a few minutes of getting stoned they start to perform less well...

If a pet is a capture pet, and it isn't super rare (like the minfernal), don't stone it.
If a pet is a capture pet and is super rare, and you don't feel like camping for it anymore, feel free to stone it.
Stone untradeable pets first.
Only stone tradeables when you've run out of rare capture pets and untradeable pets of that family, since you can always trade for or buy stonings for those pets at a later time.
