change to Ion cannon with last patch?

Has Ion Cannon and maybe surge of power changed with the last patch? before the last patch, custodian/idol/wolf or crominus/custodian again would knock of tommy newcommer pretty reliably. now I find that ion cannon seems to be doing a lot less damage and the fights have become very iffy. I couldn't put hard numbers to it, but it feels like about 10% difference.Shock and awe seems to be pretty close now in damage output.

I've been using them on other fights and have not seen any difference in damage values from before the patch. You'll probably need to get some solid numbers?

FWIW, I've been getting a couple alts the weapon from the island, and using Tommy for the free 500 coins each day. I've seen no difference in my tactics. Usually win with 2 pets, sometimes it rolls over onto the third for the finishing hit.

On topic, though, I use a double ion cannon team against Lil' Timmy, and haven't noticed anything different.

I haven't noticed a difference in ion dmg out put. It usually does between 570-900dmg for me.
