Murkalot and Brew-Pup already in collection?

While browsing pet collections on this site I noticed one that already includes 2 pets that are currently unavailable - Murkalot and the Alterac Brew-Pup. They have an unusual brown border. I thought this was strange so I checked the person's official BattleNet profile and both of those pets are listed as Not Collected. I also checked the top 5 pet collections on this site and none of them contain either of those 2 pets.

How do I go about adding those pets to my collection?

You can add them to your collection manually under update collection because of armory errors. However you are cheating if you do it before you actually have them.

Both pet profiles have been fixed so that they cannot be manually added to collections for now. Once these pets have actually been released, the option to add them will be activated again. With this change, the pets should also now show as "not collected" in all collections.

Murkalot is available now, on EU at least anyway. But doesn't seem to being imported via the armoury update.

It appears that Murkalot hasn't been added to the EU armory yet, which is why the import isn't picking him up. We're going to look into this and find a resolution, thanks!

i know that Murkalot has been out for a while now and most peoples profiles are showing him fine, but mine is saying i dont have him. anyway to fix this? i had him for a while now, but still nothing on here or the armoury.

It seems the EU armory still hasn't been updated yet. We're still waiting and hoping that Blizzard will add Muraklot to the EU armory soon.

In the event that he's not added within a reasonable amount of time, we'll likely open up the option to manually add this pet to your collection. Thanks for your patience!

I think it would be better to have some cheaters, than to wait for the Armory to be corrected...

Manual update implemented when not useful... removed when it is important to keep ... promised to put again and not done...

Our system can accommodate fixes for some Armory bugs. But we never anticipated that a bugged pet would only affect users in one region. Therein lies the problem.

We do have the ability to "turn on" manual additions of bugged Armory pets. But when that pet is only bugged in one region, as Murkalot is in the EU, the fact that it's working everywhere else will cause the manual addition option to reset once any US collector adds him to their collection via Armory import. In turn, that action will wipe the manual additions of the pet across the board. So turning on manual additions (which are not region specific) won't help.

The manual addition process was intentionally designed that way to automatically undo manual additions made by people who do not actually have the pet. We thought we were being thorough. But this "smart" design combined with the regional aspect of this bug creates an issue that we cannot easily address.

We know this sucks for you EU folks. We really do. But this isn't something we can easily fix without a lot of rewriting of our back end. On top of that, Blizzard could fix the issue on their end without warning which could cause further complications with any fix we put into place on our end.

So at this point, we urge everyone affected by this Murkalot bug to use the EU WoW forums and make Blizzard aware of the issue. Hopefully they will fix it on their end soon.

Understandable response in the situation, just very frustrating! Lets hope Blizzard fix it soon:) I love my wee Murkalot and want to see him in my collection here:)

I have written both on official forums and in in-game messages to GM, but they apparently think it's a very minor issue for them to spend time fixing it.

Well, the EU-Armory was almost fixed today
Murtkalot and Brew Pup are listed there now, but they still don't have pictures and couldn't be imported yet.

It no longer appears as a spell. I tried a flying stone on it and nothing happened. At least the stone was not consumed in the process.
