Suggestion: Cross-reference battle pet type and attack type

The new feature that lets you see all pets that have an ability with a certain name is great, but I'd like to see even greater functionality. One thing I've been wanting, that no site seems to have, is the ability to look up pets by attack type and pet type. For example, if I want to see all Dragonkin pets that have Beast damage attacks, or Critter pets with Aquatic damage attacks. Or to be able to see, in one list, all pets that have Mechanical attacks that are not of type Mechanical or Critter. That kind of search would be awesome.

So what your saying is, under the Pet Ability filter which has the "Ability Family", there should be a way to include "Pet Family" as well. If that's what you are getting at, I do like that idea. Check for a Humanoid type pet that has a mechanical ability because Humans are weak against beast but Mechanical abilities are strong against beasts. I could see the value in that then you could find the Anubisath Idol and Curious Wolvar Pup.

I agree, this would be useful. I'm sending this idea along to our lead developer to see whether it's viable with the way our system is set up. If it is, you can bet that we'll do it down the road.

We're currently at work on a "Power Search" feature that will (hopefully) include this option. So it will almost definitely be forthcoming in a month or so.
