It does not update the collection

Hello everyone, for at least 2 weeks now I have been experiencing this problem of loading my collection, I have checked the link of my armory but everything is alright, there is no problem regarding my armory, my character is in the Well of Eternity and when I try to update the collection I get this message: ALERT: Your character was not found. Check your Armory profile. If you see "Character Not Available," it's likely due to a recent merging of your realm. If you have a character on a different realm, we suggest that you switch to that character until Blizzard resolves this issue. Note that characters must be level 10+ to import a collection.

Could you please post a link to your armory page, Satoby?

Thanks! I've updated your profile - your realm needed to be "Pozzo dell'Eternità" to register your character properly.

Everything should be good, but let us know if you run into any other importing issues.

I've been having the exact same issue in spite of the fact that my armory profile appears to be working just fine.

It started for me at a similar time to the original poster. Thank you.

I'm having trouble manually updating for you, so I've forwarded this to our lead web developer. Will post updates once he's reviewed the situation.

Same as the situation directly above your post, I'm unable to manually update your collection for you.

Our web developer has put in a report to Blizzard about this issue but has not heard back from them yet. Brian (Breanni) has also contacted Blizzard directly and inquired but there's still no resolution or explanation yet.

Apologies for the inconvenience. We can only hope that Blizzard is looking into the problem and working on a fix ASAP. Unfortunately, there's nothing more we can do at the moment except periodically test and see if the import works for you again.

I've been experiencing this very problem for more than a month by now. Maybe it has something to do with the Cyrillic symbols in the nickname. Here is my armory: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/chara ... 0%BD%D0%BA

Try updating your WarcraftPets collection again, Venner. I've changed the server name to the server listed on your armory page (Galakrond-EU), and importing seemed to work. Let me know if you run into further issues.

RE: Lawmcc and Duveen -- I'm still unable to manually update your collections. 'Character not found' error is still popping up, and there's still no word from Blizzard.

Make sure the character that you're using for WarcraftPets has recently logged in (within the week) and that your armory page is updating to reflect any changes you've made to your character in-game (switch your active pet team around, change your transmog, etc.). Other than that there's not much else to do but wait for Blizzard to fix things on their end. Again, apologies for the inconvenience :(

My character is loading in the armory without issue, and is updated in the armory as well. Any ideas?

Merging this thread with the existing thread to keep track of all WarcraftPets' accounts that are experiencing issues with updating.

I've attempted to manually update your account with no luck.

Certain characters being unable to update their profile seems to be an issue on Blizzard's end. The armory loads just fine, however the API (what WarcraftPets pulls data from) doesn't respond. We've submitted reports but have not heard any response from Blizzard.

I'll ask our lead web developer to give Blizzard another nudge.

We had the same problem recently on Xu-Fu's and it seemed very random until someone figured out that there's a new setting in the Battle.net privacy setting: "Share my game data with community developers".
If that is turned off, characters show up in the armory but will return on APIs like here like they don't exist. Hope this helps!

This is great information, thank you!

Lawmcc, Duveen, and Crixy -- Please try turning on the "Share my game data with community developers" option within your Blizzard Account options. It's the last option on the Privacy page. Then try updating your WarcraftPets collection. Let us know if that works.
