It's not one of those places I'm going to share today though . . .
When our daughter was 12 we let her start playing too and I would quest with her and help her level. I think her enthusiasm for all the little things (she would take a hundred screenshots of a flower . . . or her kitty druid lying by a fire in the inn) and we did lots of exploring while playing. One day while leveling we found a hidden campsite. It wasn't massively hard to get to (this was pre-Azeroth flying) but there was absolutely no reason what so ever to go there. No mobs, no herbs, no ore, no nothing. But, for some reason we did find our way there . . . and found this deserted campsite with the most amazing view. It's since become our favourite place in game and I still go there sometimes, start a cosy fire and just relax.
My screenshot today is a slightly lonely one though. My daughter doesn't currently play as she's busy with college and my fiancé couldn't join me for a camping trip either as his computer is broken! It's still my favourite peaceful place though.
