Dressing Room Pet Preview in the Dressing Room Bugged?

I've been keeping an eye out for some tradeable pets in the auction house since I like collecting not just pet but the different color skin options too. But it seems like the ability to preview what color a pet is before buying it is no longer working? I tested this myself with one of my cavern moccasins. I have the pink skinned one but the dressing room preview defaults to green. Am I doing something wrong or is this yet another bug in the game that they need to fix?

As far as I know the Auction House dressing room feature always showed the default skin for battle pets, and never the alternate colors/actual color of specific pets.

It definitely didn't used to to that. I successfully bought different colored skins I was missing from the AH in the past using the preview feature to figure out which ones to buy. Maybe it's something that used to work that way, was fixed and then broke again?
