I don't really play WoW anymore- in fact, I haven't even run a Panda normal instance yet. I just grind my pets and swim around in my Olympic-sized pool of gold and I am content. So I decided to blow my modest wad of Timeless Coins earned from pet quests trying to get Bonkers. While looking for the cave, I stumbled on a bunch of people walloping something. I targeted it and just cycled through my lolnoob 4-button ranged DPS rotation. When it died, it was lootable for me. I hung around until they all left- still lootable. I got a 496 cloak and some other stuff. I was NOT grouped.

Is that right- all I have to do is be in the right place at the right time there and I can has purplez? Or did I take something someone else earned? Also, what's with the "WTB Plate Shoulders from Bob the Mob?" Does he mean, "If you were one of the people that just killed it with me, trade the gear to me in the next two hours for gold?"

PS: I have, like, 19 Timeless Coins left... and a Bonkers!

All rare mobs on the timeless isle are tag for loot. No group invite needed and you don't even have to be the same faction to get loot from a rare that you tagged.

Also the "WTB Plate Shoulders from Bob the Mob?" means that he tagged that mob and wants someone that got the plate shoulder item drop to sell it to him, just like you are able to trade items for the next 2 hours with anyone in your group.
