Which Small dog breeds are child friendly

Hi guyz its Nawaz sharif here i want to ask question related small dog breeds i want to buy a dog having budget of $1000 in my pocket i need information which small dog breed is child friendly i have two kids i want children friendly dog

My dog is a mutt that the vet thinks is a Schnauzer/Jack Russell mix. He's perfect and not a yapper. We have two kids and my nephew is still a toddler. I grew up with a friendly Jack Russell and never had any issues that I recall. The general consensus at the dog park is mini schnauzers are great with kids.

Shetland Sheepdog or Beagle both in my experience are great dogs but require a lot of exercise to keep there energy low. Personal favorite is the sheepdog, a fine looking dog and loves to run around on the farm.
