Flawless Stones really exist?
I'm starting to wonder if they're just some sort of elaborate blizzard trolling. I've been doing every tamer (pre-panda, panda, spirit) that rewards a bag every day plus hours of wild battling in pandaria and have yet to even see a single family-specific stone nevermind a flawless. You have people who have receieved multiple flawless and a a whole bunch of family stones and I'm curious if I'm completely missing something or is it just the RNG still holding a grudge from all the names I've called it over the years?

I'd be content with at least getting ONE of ANY family at this point.Edema wrote:i have goten a crap ton of Family Flawless Stones...

Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
I went the longest time without getting one and was doing almost all of the pet dailies that I could. Then I started getting them here and there.
So far I've gotten:
Beast - used on Ravager Hatcling (breed 4) since I could never find a rare
Dragonkin - used on Emerald Proto-Welp (breed 4) since I couldn't find a rare
Magic - used on a Nordrassil Wisp (breed 5) since I couldn't find a rare
Undead - used on Sen'jin Fetish (breed 4) for fun
Critter - used on Red Cricket (breed 8) for it's kickass power
Good luck with getting yours! They ARE out there.

Oh yes it does! Today I was just leveling my Snail to 25 and got a flawless battle-stone. I was leveling him at Krasarang Wilds near stable master. Thinking of using it on my Flayer or a Mechanical pet. Not sure though, might wanna sell it

Got one last night from betting Payne for the daily bag.

Ok thanks all, I'm thinking I'm going to have to send the RNG flowers and an apology note and keep my fingers crossed
Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
From wild pets I've gotten 7 critter stones, 2 beast stones and one mechanical stone.
I've also gotten 2 flawless battle stones...

Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
I got 3 flawless battle stones so far. All in the first 5 days. Along with 2 family ones.
Haven't seen a single stone drop in over a week now and haven't seen any of the pandaren spirit/porcupette/darkmoon eye drop either, and I've been doing all pandaren dailies and most other dailies too.

This is similar to what I experienced. I got many drops from wild battles the first days, even two non-BoP stones, but the last ~6 days I have only seen stones occationally from the daily quests.Zaelo wrote:I got 3 flawless battle stones so far. All in the first 5 days. Along with 2 family ones.

Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
Since Thursday, ive gotten 4 BoP flawless stones (Aquatic,Beast, and 2 magic) also got 2 general flawless stones from 23+ pets in Pandaria, but before this i had only gotten 1 BoP stone (flying) and nothing else from pet battles or pet tamer bags.
Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
I've done all the tamers most every day for a little over a week. I would say I average 2 stones per day out of the dozen quests. First day I got 4, and I've had one day of getting nothing. And I've yet to see a magic or elemental family stone.
I think I've had a higher drop rate than usual. My guild yells at me every time I post it in guild chat.
Never seen a stone drop off a wild pet battle.

Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
I got three stones so far, and all were from wild pet battles. One was actually the non-family type!
Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
I've captured... I've killed... I challenged tamers... I've opened bags... I have yet to see any stone of any quality. RNG is a joke... I hate it with all the fury of a thousand suns... why does it have to be random?
Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
Apparently the RNG has now accepted my apology and graced me with 2 family stones from tamers and 1 generic from fighting cloud serpent hatchlings The elemental stone went to Nippy the snowman in a vague attempt at being festive and the aquatic stone went to my (as yet unnamed) tiny goldfish because it was one of my only non-rare aquatics. I still have no idea what to do with the generic stone, there's plenty of "candidates" but none really fill any holes in my current line up so it might just end up being me picking a favorite cosmetic one.
Re: Flawless Stones really exist?
Yep! One dropped off a group of Bandicoons I was farming. I've gotten lots of family specific stones, but this was the first flawless. Tempted to use it, but tossed it up in the AH at a riduclous price that caused all sorts of trade chat drama.
If I do use it, I think the Scourged Whelpling will get the honors.
