Its quite a bit of clicks to rate a pet.
Would be nice to see something similar to netflix ratings w/ some ajax or jquery jrating
The best place to put this might be on the pets by Zone listings.
Some functionality ideas :
- If a user has not rated any pets yet display the number of stars based on the average rating.
- If the user has rated the pet display what they have selected
- Allow for easy rating changes with the use ajax, mouse over a star and click to change rating, or set rating ..
This would make it easy to scroll down the list of pets and set and/or adjust your ratings without having to navigate into the pet details then using the rating modal.

I'm hoping we'll have an opportunity to adjust the way ratings are handled sometime in the new year (after we finish the most important stuff on our to-do list).
For one thing, are people supposed to rate on looks or battle prowess? It's no longer clear. What we may inevitably do is to reset all pet ratings to 0 at the same time that we employ a new system -- on which allows people to rate on both looks and battle prowess. If we do that, we'd change the site achievement for Top Rater to be a minimum number of ratings -- perhaps 100.
