Battle Pets on Auction House

Hi

So I don't know if anyone else here has this problem but when I go to the auction house to see what battle pets are available I can't filter out the battle pets I already have so have to scroll loads and hover over pets to check if I have them or not. Does anyone know of any addons which filter out the battle pets already owned please?

Not that I'm aware of. It's easiest to just use the [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/wow-pets/filter/]pet list[/url] here on this site to filter out all that you have, then at least you can narrow it down to what you are looking for.

I recently got an addon called Pet Market, and it works wonderfully! It will scan all of the pages of pets listed on the AH for you and then show you the lowest-priced auction for each pet you don't currently have in your collection.

I second Pet Market, I love it! Only issue I've found is certain times it scans and will show the cheapest of every pet there, not just the ones you don't have. But its still a lot easier to scroll through than the main pages when that does happen.

The reason for this is because your in-game pet collection was not showing the complete collection. I've had this happen to me, as well... for example, when I was checking to see how many TCG pets I had left to collect, I was only showing those pets in my journal and forgot to recheck all sources... then when I scanned the AH I had a ton of pets I already owned.

How do you fix the problem? Make sure all pets in your collection are currently showing in your pet journal, then rescan the AH. You will mostly likely have to log back out and in to get it to work, but a UI reload might also do the trick.

I use the add on via my bank alt and always has the full collection showing, its just something that happens randomly anyways. Resetting UI usually fixes it but not always, easier just to scroll to the end of the list then deal with it usually lol.

Hmmm... I have never had it happen without my entire collection showing, and believe me I've been using it constantly since I got it. (Managed to finish off the list of TCG pets in less than a month with this addon making my search easier... especially since I main on a server where a certain player buys up crappy pets like Sinister Squashlings for dirt cheap and relists them by the hundreds for 1000g+ a piece.) Could one of your other addons be interfering with the list? Just curious why some people say they have this random issue but it's never happened to me just randomly like that.

I haven't tried pet market but I've seen the same type of wierdness from other pet related addons and it's always been what Gardenia described. I had my pet journal filtered in some way and that was causing the addon to not see the pets because they were filtered out.
