What I personally did here was keep using Lil' XT and I was able to kill Tyri using repeated zap. Then I would bring in carry pet and then Enchanted Broom and use Broomx2 to kill off Puzzle and Deebs. I swapped from batter to broom because of the slim chance of batter only hitting once. Broom was enough in one hit to kill both Puzzle and Deebs if Puzzle used his Portal.Moonie1 wrote: Puzzle portals out on Round 6 if I got a crit on him before then (I didnt know what to do so I just restarted). This scenario did not happen often but when it did it was still not an issue to finish it out although it did take a couple extra rounds.

You can even use that strat for level 1 pets if you don't mind adding two rounds:
Enchanted Broom (2/2/2)
Lil' XT (1/2/2)
Carry Pet (325+HP)
Round 1: Sweep
Round 2: Switch to Carry Pet
Round 3: Switch to Lil' XT
Round 4: Heartbroken
Round 5-7: Tantrum (Puzzle dodges last round)
Round 8: Heartbroken
Round 9: Zap (Puzzle Dies)
Round 10: Switch to Enchanted Broom
Round 11: Wind-Up
Round 12: Sweep
Round 13: Wind-Up
The Heart broken on the new Round 8 is important as it lets the following Zap kill him without triggering Portal.
I really like this team vs the Weebom team. While the Weebom team is simpler (spam cleave) and doesn't require a TCG or Shop pet, the Weebom team's cleave animation is relatively slower than the tantrum animation and it happens every round.
EDIT: another neat thing about the XT team is barring crazy crits, you can use it twice in a row (only tried the normal strat...not the level 1 strat) before having to heal...which is another speed advantage.

Am I missing something with [ability]Batter[/ability]? I noticed everyone changes it.

I just checked your original post in this thread and it has sweep used instead of batter. In this case, sweep is better for the odd times where things don't go well and the normal sequence doesn't work out. Deebs casts weakness, so when you do Windup and then sweep/batter to kill him, batter can suffer from the speed decrease of weakness and only hit once and at 50% damage.Sepsis wrote:Am I missing something with [ability]Batter[/ability]? Just a quick update. As of the PTR today, Squirt is still giving good EXP gains. That doesn't guarantee it won't change before 6.2 officially comes, but is a feel good for now.

I would like to give my 2 cents.
i have been trying to make a solid carry pet strat that allows level 1 pets...
i have the answer!
Slot 1 = Voodoo Figurine 2/2/1 (Sen' Jin Fetish can do the job, but you dont have the speed advantage over Tyri)
Slot 2 = XXX Spider(P/S) X/2/2 (any spider faster then 301 speed, P/S has 305 and decent power)
Slot 3 = Carry
ill start out by saying its not the fastest, i know people have gotten 11. this strat is 13-14 depending on darkness misses and crits.
Round 1 = Wild Magic
Round 2 = Flame Breath
Round 3 = Flame Breath
Round 4 = Flame Breath
Round 5 = if Deebs is 208 life or less then Sear Magic ( Reason is dots will kill him + you go into Tyri without the speed reduction) if life is more then 208, then Flame Breath.
Round 6 = Wild Magic (You Die) if you do Flame Breath here then there is a 10% chance you could miss your Wild Magic next round, the Wild Magic is the backbone of the strat
Round 7 = Flame Breath (Immortal Round)
Round 8 = SWITCH to Spider and use Brittle Webbing
Round 9 = its your call any of the 3 abilities will kill him, up to personal STYLE! i go with Spiderling Swarm because each swarm attack has a hit % calculated so you have 3 attempts at 90% accuracy. where as the other spells are only one.
Round 10 = SWITCH to Carry Pet
Round 11 = SWITCH to Spider
Round 12 = use tier/first move up to personal style i like Poison Spit
Round 12 = Brittle Webbing
Round 13 = Spiderling Swarm

your carry pet only takes 74-172 damage if its a Dragonkin, and 114 if they are non Dragonkin
