Most Disappointing Pet

Post by Milotha » August 15th, 2015, 5:14 pm

What was that one pet that you worked hard to get, but when you finally got it or it became a battle pet, your were disappointed?

For me it was the Kirin Tor Familiar. First, they shrank him so that he was no longer big, and then he just isn't a good battle pet in my hands. I keep wishing he was awesome for all the time I spent standing around looking for books to spawn back in WotLK. Oh well, at least with a pet biscuit I still have a decent blueberry for my pseudolock spriest.

Not all!!! There are a lot of achievement pets--Celestial Dragon & Stormwing are amazing in battle, and the Perky Pug & Brilliant Kaliri are two of my favorites to have out :)

I think the most let down pet (and it will forever be infamous) is the singing cricket. A lot of work to get and it doesn't look or do anything special.

Ah! True enough, I forgot that the Celestial Dragon came from a 'chieve. I do use that one frequently in trainer battles.

The rest... not so much.

Jade Tentacle made me the saddest. I wanted it to be good, as a huge fan of the Old Gods. Only tentacle we get... and it is terrible.

Now I know roaches can be useful in battles sometimes, but for me I think they're just lazy design work. Exact same skin variations, exact same move sets on all TEN roaches. Not very original. Plus, who likes roaches outside of battling anyways?

How many Hogs can fit on the head of a pin?

Yes, a bit of an exaggeration ... still, Hogs is very, very small. We are given the option of enlarging, temporarily, all our pets, that is true ... however, I am still quite disappointed in his standard size. Now, if I could bake my own biscuits, it might ease the pain a bit.
