Gifting Brightpaw

Brightpaw is live, is cute, and is worthwhile purchase for Make-A-Wish ... but no way to gift it to friends.

Or am I missing something ?

it seems you can gift him now. I've never tried gifting anything from Blizzard before so i don't know if this is how it's always been, but you can gift him to someone with their email address. is there no way to gift it to someone just by knowing their battle tag info? or is there a way to know their email through just that information? it would kinda ruin the surprise if i have to go ask them for their email..

I know you can just send them the code, but they have to go "pick the gift up" themselves! that's just lame...

From my experience it's always been done either via email (so the recipient get an email from Bliz saying "You got a gift from so-and-so, click here to pick up") or via code redemption (I've only gotten it this way from RL friends, like they'll put the code in a greeting card).

I know what you mean, it'd be nice if you could just have it in their in-game mail or a in-game package, but I've never seen that offered as an option.
