Question about Vanilla Collectors Edition Pets

I have an few old characters with Vanilla Collectors Pets and the BC Collector's Pet and I was wondering If I could transfer a character to my brothers account who doesn't have the Collectors Editions, and would he be able to learn the pets.

If you linked accounts or are able to transfer toons over then yes but i think one can only transfer toons to linked accounts

You used to be able to do this but I think there were additional steps involved, that usually ended up with a call to Blizz to get everything linked properly.

You might call Blizz with the simple question of linking accounts with your brother and moving a character to it.
