Pet Tracker messing up PVP cooldowns?

After a VERY long battle my next one began showing cooldowns of the old opponents with 100+ rounds of CD on them. Didn't keep a screenshot but it looked as glorious as silly.

The only addon for cooldowns at the time was Pet Tracker.

Looks like an unneccessarily collected statistic, but what's the point?

I tried to report it once on an old CurseForge, but then it was fixed for a moment, and since then all tickets have been reset because of an upgrade of CF. Any record of the bug would be greatly appreciated. =)
