So I have a handful of these [pet]Blood Boil[/pet] from farming ICC for the Drudge Ghouls for profit to get more pets
My question is, which breeds (since we're limited to keeping 3 of the same one) should I keep for battling purposes or value or both, and which ones should I put up on the auction house?
I ask because breeds isn't my strongest area. I mostly collect pets for collecting only but I do have to battle them to obtain more pets, achievement pets (IE Brutal Pet Brawler that I want to work on), and dungeon pets, etc.
Input on this would be greatly appreciated ^_^
The breeds I've read to be available for Blood Boil are:
HH , PP , SS HP , PS , HS HB , PB , BB

PP as power is the most useful stat for 5 of 6 of its abilities. Speed has no extra benefit. [ability]Drain Blood[/ability] is the only one that benefits from health, so HP and HH if you're really determined to have 3 different ones of this pet (but realistically I don't see this pet being the essential cornerstone of any strategy).

Thank you very much for that info Peanutty ^_^
Re: 9 Breeds of Blood Boil and which to keep?
I agree with Peanutty that this is not a pet that is likely to be a cornerstone of a strat. And, while it's not important, I'd probably plop for P/P as well.
However, I would regard S/S as very close, and better for PvP. Health doesn't help [ability]Drain Blood[/ability] beyond the obvious because it
In PvE, where you're mostly facing tamers with epic pets whose boosted stats mean they usually go first, that speed will less often come to your rescue, but for PvP it might make the difference. (Not that I see it featuring highly on PvP teams.)

So your health is not a factor. And getting in that Drain Blood heal (~420+ on average) before you get a hit that will kill you could be match-winning. Similarly, getting [ability]Drain Power[/ability]Drains the enemy of 10% of their maximum health.
The user is healed for 300% of the health drained.
in first would be a big plus.Deals 197 Magic damage, reduces the target's damage by 25% for 2 rounds and increases the user's damage by 25% for 2 rounds.

Ahh, my weakness, I can't read! This goes to show how often I've used that ability.Gráinne wrote:I agree with Peanutty that this is not a pet that is likely to be a cornerstone of a strat. And, while it's not important, I'd probably plop for P/P as well.
