So i am back into pet pvp after 3 years away
. 50 wins this week and a lot of easy matchups due to people trying for the tabard.
I ran up against a tough comp..looking for suggestions ..here was my opponents trio:
S/S Fiendish imp
Wretched servant
Teroclaw
Any ideas? .i came up against it 5 times today...
Maybe Fragment of anger x 2 (plus a 3rd).? ....to hurt teroclaw in the backline?
I tried a ramped up veng porc and it did well
Thx for any input

Re: PvP matchup question
I could be wrong but it looks like that opponent is using a strategy of backline healing and fairly tanky/evasive pets to support this.
You might try adding a darkness bird to your team with a base speed of over 160. These will comfortably 1-1 the Teroclaw and disrupt the backline healing strategy. I would recommend an S/S Long Eared Owl or an S/S Crow as both of these will out speed the Wretched servant as well even after they lose their racial.

Re: PvP matchup question
Thanks so much for the great suggestions!
I only have 34 leveled pets at the moment but I'm busy working on leveling some excellent pvp pets
My issue in addressing that team with darkness was that I used a b/b gilnean raven ...and only 1 darkness pet
I do have a p/p frostfur rat but I need to get a rare fox to 25.
I figure I will level a demonhunter to 110 while building my pet stable.

Nice to see this battles forum is active with sharp minded pvp pet battlers
Thanks again

Re: PvP matchup question
Just had a look at your collection and its taking shape nicely I'd say.
One tip I might offer is if your going to be doing a bit of PvP your pets speed can be an important factor. Not all pets of course as some are better in other breeds due to their move sets. I would recommend however picking up at least one S/S rabbit or hare. In PvP these are Tier 1 due to their speed strongly complimenting both their evasion and flurry abilities. Also the Alpine Foxling is another great Pet to snag in an S/S breed. With e speed of 325 it is faster than a Teroclaw once it uses dazzling dance and can easily 1-1 them. It will also be faster than an S/S Bone serpent again getting a very favourable match up with another very popular and deadly pet.
Have fun collecting all the critters dude!
