Figured I'd mention him since nobody else has yet.

If you're a 6-month subscriber you get the Timbered Sky Snake mount free in retail, and the pet version free in Classic.

However if you want the pet in retail that costs $10.

Mildly annoying but it's a nice pet and $10 isn't past the point of reason for me lol, cheaper than Reven was, the last store pet (to be fair Reven was for charity and also came with a backpack tmog).

Thanks for the heads up! I hadn't realised you could buy that for retail. I was so annoyed it was classic only haha.

What a scammy way to do this. I didn't want to buy the pet if I should be getting in my 12 month subscription, but it was very unclear. Blizzard has made this extremely confusing. In the gift (that you see in the Blizzard Launcher) the title reads:

"World of Warcraft®: Timbered Sky Snake Mount & Timbered Air Snakelet Pet"

Reading further into the body it says ""Thanks for subscribing to 12 Months of WoW! Get a new mount for WoW and a pet for Cataclysm Classic. Gift expires 7.31.2025."

Thanks for the heads up. I would rather get it with cashy money than hope it appears on the Trading Post and I have to decide where to spend Tendies.
