I'm curious if anyone has ever gotten 2 family-specific battle-stones from one Sack of Pet Supplies. Wowdb and Wowhead both agree now that the drop rate is 1% for each type of battle-stone. So I'm wondering if it's a 10% chance to get a stone, and then it randomly selects which one; or, if it's really just one roll, with a 1% chance for each stone, in which case it would be possible to get 2x stones in the same bag (with a probability of 0.01%).
The distinction is not very important, but if it's implemented the 2nd way, then the distribution ends up being a lot broader, ie you'd expect stone drops to be more streaky.
One bag, two stones?
Re: One bag, two stones?
I've never seen more than 1 stone from a bag.
Re: One bag, two stones?
One stone per bag, must have seen about 30 stones total.
If I had to guess, I'd say it rolls for stone, then rolls for type, rather than a roll for each stone (because theoretically, you could get 10 stones per bag that way!)

Bags generally give you about 3 items. Each stone probably has an equal chance of popping up in your bag; just a matter of how often you receive an actual battle stone in your supply bag! >.<" lolGromagrim wrote:One stone per bag, must have seen about 30 stones total.
