Bleeding Hollow - trading battle stones

Hello pet-lovers,

I'm hoping to be able to trade a battle-stone with someone. I know that this will only work for non pet-battle pets, but hopefully we'll be able to work out a trade. I have elemental and beast stones, and am looking for humanoid.

How I've done this previously is you can crate your pet (hence not being able to use trapped pets), trade it to me, I add it to my collection, then use the stone on it. I then recrate it and trade it back, then you do the same for me. A bit of trust is required, but I figured anyone using these forums can be trusted regarding their pets!

Actually, I believe you can stone someone else's pet as long as it's summoned.
That's how folks generally trade stones. So it can work for any pet - not just crateable ones.

Also, you'll probably get more responses if you post in the US Trading Forum.

Thanks Gendou. Just tried that with my husband-- unfortunately, it didn't work. The tooltip said "pet not summoned" when I targeted his pet with my stone.

I'll check out those other forums though, maybe find something else.

According to WoW forums you must be able to cage and trade the pet you want upgraded. If you can't cage it then you can have someone else upgrade it.
