I can't wait to get all these added to my collection

Ah, but remember that pets are going account wide. You wouldn't need to buy one off a pandaren that collected one before they left home. You would just need to roll a pandaren and collect it yourself.Evilgnomey wrote: or maybe they will be wild pets in the wandering isle that pandarens can start of their collection with, doubt it though seeing as no other race can get there so they would have to buy them off pandarens probably.
I used to use the critter bites thing on him as soon as we zoned in. That way he would be my pet for a short time and then just de-spawn. It seemed better then him being killed.Honathina wrote:Why isn't Mr. Bigglesworth on the list? I was always so sad when people killed him when we raided Naxx
I don't think Blizzard has ever made humanoid children killable..? We may have kidnapped a few wolvar pups here and there, or dragged orphans with us on to the battlefield, but I don't remember any quests to slaughter children. They're generally immune to attack. We're more apt to have quests saving children, even kids from races that are traditionally enemies (like the murloc tadpoles). So I was surprised people are seeing humanoids apparently involved in the pet battles. Maybe pet battles are approached more like duels or some other kind of friendly competition? The winner plays dead like kids playing cowboys, and then gets up and giggles?!Dementron wrote:"[Insert small child here] This isn't The Hunger Games!"
Wait, so if I consider my Moonkin Hatchling to be my main character's daughter, and plan to make her the star of my battle lineup, does that make me a terrible person?![]()
What can I say? I figure if she's going to grow up to be an adventurer like her mom, she has to start somewhere...
Fainting then... like that game that shall not be mentioned?Lysi wrote:I don't think Blizzard has ever made humanoid children killable..? you can kill the wolvar pups (and that's very annoying because you can't AoE to kill their mothers else ou lose the quest items lol)...Lysi wrote:I don't think Blizzard has ever made humanoid children killable..?
Oh, I hate killing anything in the game, my husband jokes that I'd prefer World of Peacecraft!Mortis_darkskull wrote:you can kill the wolvar pups (and that's very annoying because you can't AoE to kill their mothers else ou lose the quest items lol)...
you can also kill magnataur younglings and dragon whelps (they are more sentient than adult humans lol)
I hate quests that request me to do so though, because I love children![]()
I guess we have 3 things in common than... the dislike for fighting things, the liking of pets and the disbelief of dead mops dropping themselves as pets and mounts...Lysi wrote:Oh, I hate killing anything in the game, my husband jokes that I'd prefer World of Peacecraft!Mortis_darkskull wrote:you can kill the wolvar pups (and that's very annoying because you can't AoE to kill their mothers else ou lose the quest items lol)...

I haven't done the wolvar quest for a while, so maybe I'm misremembering--I know the wolvar pups disappear when you fight close to them, but I thought they just disappeared, no death animation or corpse. I figured they ran off. I never noticed about the magnataurs, so my theory definitely doesn't stand up. (Magnataurs are supposedly very long lived, so maybe the younglings are already 500 years old and they didn't feel they had to be included?!) Of course dragons are sentient, but I knew it didn't apply to any non-humanoid race. (I never understood killing the whelps--when I started playing WoW and found out about small pets, I figured the whelp pets were rare drops off full grown dragons. When I found out the whelps were drops off whelps, it seemed bizarre.. Didn't I just kill this pet?)
In any case, I hope the pet battles do not result in death, even if the pets can resurrect as our characters do. So many are just too cute to die! XD
I'm currently trying to get blizz to allow us to keep the orphans... if you want that, please give me support X3Dementron wrote:I have to admit, though... keeping in mind that I'm convinced there won't be killing involved... some perverse part of me really, really wants to see orphan battles...
What are you Cartman, lolDementron wrote:I have to admit, though... keeping in mind that I'm convinced there won't be killing involved... some perverse part of me really, really wants to see orphan battles...
Well Locks are getting Beholder demons, so you can use Willy, and you can use the Kirin'Tor Familiar as a VoidwalkerMortis_darkskull wrote:only an imp demon up till now??? sad panda![]()
