Advice please.

So Im done with all my wild caught rares. A few I have doubles of and don't really want doubles, but I have no idea which stat is better. Could I get some imput please on which to keep?


Fluxfire feline P/S OR S/S
Cogblade Raptor S/S OR B/B
Fel Flame H/H OR H/P
Flayer Youngling H/H OR P/S

FFF - Currently S/S is better, that may change after the nerfs in 5.2. I'm keeping both.

Cogblade - Never used, no idea.

Fel Flame - H/P

Flayer - Of those, P/S. I love my P/P one right now, time will tell if he'll still see use when reflect is gone.

I currently have both, so I can test it in a post-5.2 world.
I expect the P/S to come out slightly ahead, but that's my Power-bias speaking.

Cogblade Raptor S/S OR B/B

I have a B/B myself, but I'm going to venture S/S as better due to Batter.

Fel Flame H/H OR H/P

H/P, hands down.

Flayer Youngling H/H OR P/S

I have a P/P and I love it. A P/S isn't a bad choice if you don't want to hunt down a P/P.
An H/H might have an advantage in some situations because the humanoid heal is percentage-based.
But given the choice between the two, I'm going to say P/S.

For Flayer Youngling I'm using s/s to ensure I get to 'kick' if I need to.

I use a P/P (breed 4) flayer youngling with all of the attacks being 2/2/2. Love it!

Excuse my ignorance, but I've seen these designations across a few of the forum postings and really don't understand their meaning. Can someone either explain or point me to a section that reviews these? Heck, I've been happy enough to find rares and haven't focused on these stats at all yet!

Wow, embarassing but informative! Thanks for the link, makes a lot more sense now and reviewing my pets and their stats makes more sense as to who is more successful for me!
