539 - 10 = 528?

Forgive me if this has been asked here before.

I have 539 pets. Ten of those pets are things that cannot be leveled. I can level 528 pets. What's missing?


I am sure it's something obvious and I will soon feel silly. At the moment though it's driving me batty.

Do you have another faction's pet? Like my Alliance Guild Page doesn't show on my Horde player's pet journal.

There are 11 pets that can't be leveled.

Guild Herald and Guild Page, both Horde and Alliance.
Argent Squire and Argent Gruntling.
Chi'ji Kite and Yu'lon Kite.
Horde and Alliance Balloons.
Darkmoon Balloon.

There's also the Moonkin Hatchlings, which can only be levelled on the matching faction.

I wasn't counting them, but WAS counting the moonkin hatchling (mistakenly) since he's stuffed down at the bottom with the balloons and kites. It's a bit annoying since he's level 25 and he's forced to mingle with the 'unlevellables'
