The Longest Day achievement

Hello everyone!

This new achievement what is coming in next patch is going to take a while to do, any one got suggestions on what order to do them and what pets to use? (to get it done fast as possible)

I'm sure everyone will have their own methods, but this is what I'm planning: 1) Making sure I have a day clear of raiding or other activities since it'll probably be very time consuming. 2) Using alts parked in different zones to make it faster to get from point to point (I already have 1 in Kalimdor, 1 in EK, 1 in NR - also I have a lot of teleport items to use as well). 3) Making sure all the alts are well stocked with pet bandages.

I plan on going in reverse order, that is, highest level to lowest. That way I get the harder stuff out of the way before I burn out, then I can be lazy with the easier ones.

I already have teams set up for all the Panda level trainers since I've been doing those daily. Anything under that I can probably power through with my self healing, pet farming team - Wild Crimson Hatchling, Leopard Tree Frog and a boosted pet.

I'm under the impression that it's only the daily tamers that need to be beaten, not the original quest ones. I do most of them every day either way, just need to add in the Cata guy.

Last I saw all the quest ones were included. The only thing I could find at a quick glance was the following (taken from wowhead PTR):

Marked Flawless Battle Stone - it's one that can't be sold/traded but only transferred to your alts.

No, you'll only have to do your "faction's" tamers.

I spent all day doing this Achievement and got 2 upgrade stones, a buff food for +10% XP and more Charms than I know what to do with.

What I did NOT get was the Marked Flawless Battle-stone. Tried logging in and out, popping on other characters, etc., etc.

Anyone get one? Am I missing something obvious (like you have to go to a Tamer somewhere)?

I've read 2 posts on the report bug forums about this. I completed the achievement and didn't get it either. You are supposed to get a letter in the mail with it according to the Blue devs. I logged out completely and back in and didn't get it. I submitted a ticket and waiting now for an answer.

They're doing restarts tomorrow. Maybe that will also be a hotfix for it.

there's an add on that keeps track with all dailies, i don't remember the name. it shows all satchrel tamers as green paws, all beasts of fable as orange paws and all other dailies as blue paws on the world map. i guess i'll just keep track of my progress and plan my route by looking at the map.
