Post, "On Saturday at noon EST I and two friends will be at Pet Tamer Outoftheway on the realm Zul-Zul. We'll summon your level one, then move on to Tamer Forgotallabouthim, summon you, and so on until you have your maximum of eleven characters parked on our realm. The fee will be one of the following pets: a, b, or c. We'll also summon you if you'll trade both y and z at level 25 for my level 1 pets. We hope several players take this opportunity, so your patience is appreciated."
You could go a couple of routes. You could just hit Kalimdor/ Eastern Kingdoms tamers that live in an area safe for a level one, which would be quick. You could also include satchel tamers in safe areas like Payne and Obalis, which might be more desireable. And wouldn't it be sweet if another Warlock on a different realm put together a service hitting different safe tamers a couple of hours later?

Re: Warlocks: I have a cunning plan...
i like it.
all the pandaren spirit tamers are in safe spots for a level 1... i think. i have seen a level 20 parked in valley of 4 winds, not sure if lower would work. krasarang, jade forest, kun-lai, and dread wastes tamers seem fairly safe too.
uldum dam and winterspring should be ok.
kara, townlong, SMV, not so much.

I'd be a bit nervous about missing out on valor points / xp / potential anti bad luck streak thing. Still, I often visit the Northrend tamers if I'm leveling pets, plus maybe Shattrath, as well as Brok in Hyjal and what's-his-face in Deepholm, so that could save a bit of time. Still, changing servers just to do that with stones potentially scattered everywhere seems too much of a hassle for me.

Wouldn't it just be easier, and cheaper, to have a friend with a passenger mount fly those level 1s around for you, and then you return the favor?
Re: Warlocks: I have a cunning plan...
I can probably get from tamer to tamer faster on my mage with 310% flying than I can logging off and on again 11 times. Also, the aforementioned "other" rewards for doing it all on a single character.
This just seems like a lot of extra work and trouble to save yourself 2 minutes of flying.

Nope, afraid not. Either a feature or a bug causes toons to very frequently dismount passenger mounts when in zones of a much higher level than they are. I wanted to get some satchels for my level 5 banker so he could hang around the AH with a 200%-sized Kun Lai Runt. He falls off constantly in Deadwind Pass; it's not worth it.Catalytic wrote:Wouldn't it just be easier, and cheaper, to have a friend with a passenger mount fly those level 1s around for you, and then you return the favor?

I'm talking mostly about non-Pandaren tamers that you almost certainly aren't doing daily.Anasa wrote:I can probably get from tamer to tamer faster on my mage with 310% flying than I can logging off and on again 11 times. It's a zoning bug, and it seems to be SOMEWHAT better since the patch. Still cheaper than paying someone to summon youSkyquake wrote:Nope, afraid not. I've been flying friends around for flight points at all levels. And while it looks like it dismounts you the passenger is still on the mount. It's looks like it dumps then then puts them back on. At least that's' what's been happening since the patch. You don't evne have to stop the mount to pick anyone back up. Even works the same in phasing areas. A lowbie is quite safe flying around as a passenger now.
For a lowbie to get to Panda land just get a Warlock friend to summon you. I'm sure there's one in your guild if you need one.

I've still had a few passenger d/c's (I also see the jumping off/on) since the patch, but nowhere near as many as before. Also a mage port to the Shrine gets lowbies to Pandaria, as well.Ravnhawk wrote:I've been flying friends around for flight points at all levels. Re: Warlocks: I have a cunning plan...
This is a known bug with CRZ, and nothing to do with player level vs. the zone. The devs have acknowledged the bug, but won't fix it, saying it only affects "a small number" of people. People who have laid out huge investments of in-game gold, or real life money to get those two seat mounts. Just... fail, Blizzard. Really fail.Either a feature or a bug causes toons to very frequently dismount passenger mounts when in zones of a much higher level than they are.

Except they did - mostly.Anasa wrote:The devs have acknowledged the bug, but won't fix it,
5.2 changed it so that the passenger no longer drops from the mount but gets disconnected.
5.3 (mostly) fixed the disconnect issue, we got one single disconnect from the whole longest day achievement.
