Need some help if anyone can answer, my team has been discussing whether or not the rated arena matches have begun. We hit our 50th played match today so are we good for the pet? Or do we have to wait as has been mentioned for the rated games to start? We have different opinions and would like some verification. Thanks fro any help given.

I would love to know the answer to this as well. Everything that I've been able to find suggests that this is just the practice time and that the 'real' rated battles which count toward the pet don't start for 3?ish weeks from now (ie, end of july beginning of august).
If that's NOT true... could someone please update??

ok so our team received confirmation from wow support, the matches taking place now for arena pass 2013 are only practice and do not count towards the 50 requirement to get the pet. Matches that are required start in 2-3 weeks supposedly WOW will announce when real matches start on the website though I haven't seen any thing on the website about practice matches so we will see.
