Trapped in the Celestial Tournament

I entered the tournament without healing my pets up first (which was dumb, honestly, but I was just so excited) so I found myself in there with a bunch of dead pets. I figured I'd leave and start over... however, there doesn't seem to be a way to leave. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? I don't see a portal, no one I talk to helps, I can't be summoned out, I can't hearth, even death doesn't remove me from the instance. Is there a button somewhere I'm missing?

right click on your portrait and leave instance group just like you'd do when leaving a DF or scenario.

I knew it'd be something simple. Thank you! Turns out logging in there and staying out for a while also works, logged in back at my hearth. Thank you kindly though, I never knew you could leave an instance by clicking your portrait for options, I usually left by leaving the group ^_^;

From what Ive heard, there should be an npc in there that heals all your pets. BUT! It resets tournament progress.

Nope, she says something along the lines of "that would be cheating..." but boy, did I sure try =D

nice to see that noone talks about how "shit" the tornament is compared to the reward of 1 coin (after your first time)
or how bad blizzard now has to be to claim to have something challenging
(tsues Panda in Stage 1 who reduces your hitchance by 100(!)%)

and if you tell wich pets you use you should also add wich pets you use for the first stage otherwise threads like these are pretty useless as noone starts in stage 2....

This happened to me as well, although I knew about the option from your portrait to leave. My problem was it bugged and that option was missing. I had to goto the character stuck option to get out the 1st time. Upon entering the 2nd time and not going to well, the option to leave was present then.

6 years later and i did the same thing...thank u lol. I tried */leave instance* in the chat but didnt work.

Same thing just happened to me. Finished the tourny, but no option to leave the instance group. You'd think Blizz would have these bugs fixed after 15 years. How hard is it to put an NPC in there that can port you out?
