WTT Droplet of Y'Shaarj (P/P)

Looking to trade my (P/P) Droplet of Y'shaarj for something good. Keep in mind that this is the SoO equivalent to ToT's Viscous Horror so I'm not looking for any lowballers.

Actually it isn't the VH version as it can drop in flex/normal/heroic.
I believe Kovok is the normal/heroic only and that blackfuse bombling is mislabled and can drop in flex/LFR

I don't believe the info on Kovok is accurate. A druid in my guild did flex on the day that patch was released (we did normal later that night) and received this pet, so I'm pretty sure you can get it in flex too.

yeah I think they made all 4 of the Siege pets obtainable in flex/lfr/normal but Im not 100% sure on Kovok yet

Droplet of Y'Shaarj is the only SoO pet unobtainable from LFR. Comparing the two raids, the Sha of Pride is the counterpart to Primordious just like how the Gooey Sha-ling is the counterpart for the Living Fluid and how the Droplet of Y'Shaarj is the counterpart for the Viscous Horror.

Yes but Droplet can be found in Flex which was hotfixed in. Yes I do know that ToT didn't have flex but this means that there will be more chances to get a Droplet vs the drop rate of VH. It isn't the same

Don't let this discourage you or the worth of the pet however, I mean this is still one of the ones I'm lacking myself so it still has good worth just not quite VH insanity levels

No it's exactly the same. You just get one more opportunity each character each week for it to drop if you choose to Flex. The drop rate for the Viscous Horror and the Droplet of Y'shaarj should be pretty much the same; doubled if you run Flex and Normal/Heroic every week. Sure because of this the Droplet might become more common than the Viscous Horror when SoO is still current content, but the Droplet is no doubt the SoO counterpart for the Horror.

And the counterpoint is that Droplet is only on the 4th boss where as VH was much further in. Not as many guilds on normal were downing Primordius as opposed to what you can do so early in SoO

just putting my input in but its not worth as much as a horror. in no way would I value it as much as a horror.

Agreed that it's not nearly as rough as Viscous Horror. Viscous is much deeper into the zone, and thus much more of a pain to pursue. Couple that with Droplet being available in Flex, and the difference is massive.

That said, I'm eager to get this pet and I'd be interested in trading, but I have no idea what you might want for it.

Sorry, but there is no way this pet has the same value as the Horror. I've already seen the Droplet on 2 servers for under 30k, and one realm had 4 listed at one point. Compare that to the Horror that i have seen only once, on a very high pop realm, and you get an idea.

Soon as this pet gets down to ~15k, I'll have one. Horror cost me a Jewelled Panther mount.
