Wild Serpent Hatchling nerf?

Has anyone else noticed a stealth nerf to the Hatchlings? They don't respawn as quickly now.

I don't know how often they were spawning before since I've only been camping them a bit the last two days. But I've been out there killing all critters for hours, during rain and during shine and haven't seen a SINGLE hatchling spawn. Don't know what's up.

I actually started on these guys almost a week ago and finally got all rares. I have noticed in that time that it seems like they will respawn quickly for awhile and then just stop respawning. I have found that if you wait a few hours and go back, there are a lot up again. Not sure if this is what you are seeing, but it was that way for me every single day. They also always respawn with daily reset if you are a nightowl like me

Finished all 3 rares this morning after two days of checking in. Seems that the daily respawn thing is true, I didn't witness it myself but the guy I teamed up with to share spawns (since we needed different colors) said that he saw a whole bunch up right when the dailies reset. We kept going round and round killing all critters and letting each other know if we found the color the other needed. Within an hour I got my last rare, and he was left waiting for his golden to spawn.

Dunno what it was like before as I just got exalted this morning. Got exalted, my mini map lit up like a Christmas tree of paws, hit up one of each color, got a rare each time.

When I dinged I didnt see any at all on the minimap. But I came back a few days later and found a few where none of them was rare. Then I returned later same day and none were up at all. I can't figure out the spawn timer but they do spawn. And when they spawn there are like 40-50 of them in the area. But once you've gone through them they disappear and I waited there for 20 mins once without result..

I have a rare jade hatchling but haven't been lucky with the others yet.
