Elemental type of deer?

I just pvp battled a lvl21 deer name is "bamblesrevenge" . The type of pet is "elemental" and not a critter or undead. Does anyone with that pet or has fought that pet? It is throwing me off big time

Some of the deer have an ability called Natures Ward, which restores health for 5 rounds, during that time they are considered elemental. That should explain it.

It was most likely using [ability]Nature's Ward[/ability]. I could see how that would throw someone off seeing it the 1st time
