I've done the quest on multiple characters, three of which where in the same city (IF because I love my gnomes).

Where can Pandaren do it? My level 26 can't easily get to Dalaran.

Ive done it on 9 toons now so you definitely can do it on more then one toon per account.

Dalaran and Shatt are the only places that pandas can do it, that I've seen.

If the event's not popping up yet (even though it's the correct time) CRZ might be causing some problems. That's my best guess.

As for completing the quest on multiple characters: I think you can, but you can only complete it once per major city (Dalaran and Shattrath being exceptions). You might need alts of different races to acquire more than one pet. I'll test this out later today.

I don't know what you guys are running into but I did the quest on 14 characters that I can remember today.

6 orcs, 2 undead, 2 humans, 2 trolls, 1 Tauren, 1 Blood Elf

Now... I did ALL of them in Dalaran.

Heads up - I've only been able to complete it on one character. Tried multiple chars both Alliance and Horde, different realms, none are avaidible of getting the quest more than once. Checking back tomorrow to see if it's a daily thing.

I have been able to do it on all 11 of my Horde toons (all races except Tauren), on the same server, all within the same hour. Didn't have issues here.

I never did see it in Elwynn, where it was last year. I took my toons to Dalaran.

I had an odd experience. I was able to do it on two in Stormwind, and then could not do it on any others there. Then I went to Dalaran and I could do it. I bet this is a programming bug.

You can only do it in ones capital city so humans only in SW.
Unless neutral cities like Shat or Dalaran then all can do it there.
Their are a few exceptions gnomes can do IF since they share it with dwarfs.
I believe worgens share darnassus.
And goblins and trolls share Orgimaar with orges.

These are so gosh darn kewt. I'm not sure what the idling with occasional dancing is all about (on this page, I mean.) My little guy has been dancing nonstop. I really hope he's not like the Christmas pets. I don't appreciate my battle pets calling me names. XD~
