I've been running 11 toons for the first two days then, after leveling another alt to 80, 12 toons since.

Running total: 0/106

However... Somebody on this website was kind enough to mail me a Rotten Little Helper. If I can manage to get one from one of my runs, then I'll learn the one that I looted and either return the one that was given to me (if the person reveals who they are) or re-gift it to somebody else that's been unlucky.

Either way, whoever it was that sent it to me... Thank you!

Doing the daily on 5 Toons a day and no luck so far on Rotten. 1 Lumpy and a Clockwork. We need a new acronym for RNG that has 4 letters in it:), maybe FRNG? *edit* up to 55 tries now and have finally gotten one!

Day 8: 0/56. I have not gotten a single pet, Rotten nor otherwise fresh. No dagger. Nothing but race cars, fruit cakes and 2 monkey barrels.

I got a Rotten Helper yesterday and a Clockwork Robot today. Pretty happy since I only have 3 toons running it.

I simply cannot be bothered to try this every day across my toons.

I'm sure the Rotten Helper will be fairly common as of the 25th December and if I don't get one whilst opening my pressies, I'll pick one up for under 1k on the AH for sure.

Lumpy I'll pay up to 5k for after the 25th if I'm unlucky, and I already have the Clockword Bot from a previous year.

I only have two toons that can do this and the coolest thing I got was the dagger. But I DID find it on the AH for pretty cheap, so I'm not fussed. I just hope Lumpy drops before this is over. And considering that the quest to get it is fairly easy, not getting pets from the boxes makes me less upset than the farming I do afterwards in the area not dropping the Black Tabby. Where are you kitty cat? I've looked so long...

I didn't really count, but I know when I got it.

Across 3 accounts(one is my daughters). 9 Alliance able to do it, and 5 Horde, so 14 total characters. My lowest still able to do the quest was 81, my next is 69 and was not able to get it.

Day 5 I got it on the 3rd character.

so... accessing brain information... 59th opened package. 14 x 4 = 56 + 3 = 59

I have done it a total of 6 days and so far just the one so far. Still trying to get one more for my daughter.

Also I missed a few days due to not knowing it would drop from the Quest, I read somewhere (probably wowhead) that it was going to be in a present during the opening of the presents part of the event. I have received three Lumps of Coal, one round "football", and one of the ilvl 480 daggers.

Eekmeister let me know if you want a lumpy, as I said I got 3, that's not counting the 2 I had from last year. I'll give you one, call it a Christmas Present.

Appears not to be a present from under the tree at all. Only seen oldie winter pets appear. You get a flying toy this year. Orgrimmar sounds like a warzone now, LOL.

72 tries as of this writing, have some more to try today. No Rotten, got a single Lumpy yesterday. Really tired of it, don't see presents avail under the tree.
