CE Question

For the pets gained through Collector's Editions, the pets are tied to the code for the copy of the game and not a code from a physical card like TCG or BlizzCon, correct?

Sorry if this is the wrong place, just weighing the option of buying a copy of the game vs. trading.

CE pets are tied to the game key. In other words, if you want to have the pet you have to "use" the game! Alternatively, if you used the key, you cant give someone else the pet.

I know that some older CEs are problematic to use if you already had the regular game key
