sure enough checked my AH and saw 4 of them up for sale. I'm really wondering if this was intended. I mean you only get one of these pets when you buy the CE so why in the heck would you want to cage/sell it? I have no idea but I bought the pet for 4k gold...lol

Talked to the person that sold it. as soon as they caged/sold it Blizz mailed them another pet right away which they put right back up on the AH. This is most def not intended.

Sounds like if you buy these to trade you may end up with pets you can't get rid of after a hot fix.

I was thinking the same. Unless they are in a gbank and retrieved by the buyer. Not that I can test that theory since none were on my AH.

Yeah I mean I picked up one of these just being curious about it. Kind of defeats the purpose of a CE if the pet was tradeable haha. Yeah there is a mount and other blah blah blah but still that is just strange. I imagine this will get hotfixed very quickly

hmm I guess the gbank thing would work, so yeah you can cage it, put it in a gbank and use them as a surplus to trade. Unless they just flat out remove all caged versions of this pet and make it a grey item or something. In fact I hope they do exactly that.

If they do that, I hope the people who sold theirs don't keep the gold.

yeah a lot of people are making nice gold off of this and it is really sad. Blizz makes such a stupid mistake and people profit on it.

The pet is currently greyed out /disabled in my pet book

yeah some people are saying they have this bug and cannot summon theirs. However the one I bought is fully summonable right now. And I do not have the CE yet. How strange

wow have to give blizz some credit. Pet is no longer cageable and shows as unique and non-tradeable. A lot of people claim theirs cannot be summoned/greyed out when they relogged. Guess I'll test that theory now

well mine is fully functionable for now. did a pet battle and got it to level 2. But tons of people are still saying they cannot use theirs...so go figure

On a related subject, I hope the DDE can be gifted soon.

yeah I am curious on the DDE gifting myself. I have a trade waiting for when it lets us do that.

Did blizzard already fix this? I just bought mine and my pet is not cageable.
