I noticed on the guide posted here that Children's Week is listed as April 1st through 8th. But when I logged in I found it on the calendar starting April 28th.

The dates for Children's Week should be correct in our [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/guides/pets/events/#month4]Minipets Events Calendar[/url] (April 28 - May 5), and a rough time frame is provided in the [url=http://www.warcraftpets.com/guides/pets/guide-to-childrens-week/#part3]Guide to Children's Week[/url] (first week/beginning of May).

WarcraftPets generally does not monitor or update user-written guides (unless they are categorized under "official" or Community Guides), so if the guide you're referring to is a user-written one, it may not be up-to-date.

Yup, I'm talking about the guide in the drop-down menu at the top of this page. Under the Q & A part, question 3 -

Question When is Children's Week?
Answer Children's Week in World of Warcraft occurs at the beginning of May (usually between May 1st and May 8th).

Maybe it was changed before you quoted it? Because the bit you've quoted there says May not April.
