Qiraji Guardling

Post by Luciandk » June 22nd, 2014, 3:27 am

Im hearing its around again. So Im going down to find an S/S breed to replace the P/P one I have as I dont find it terribly effective.

Had nearly forgotten about it until I saw its in season again.

Grabbed one, stoned it and leveled it. Should be more useful than the pp version.

I managed to get one of each. Stoned my S/S one, planning to stone the other as well.

Farmed for a couple hours and picked up 2 rare S/S and a rare P/S, decided to skip the P/P didn't see how it would be effective. If there's not much competition, heads up, they respawn fairly quickly so you can pretty much continuously farm for a rare without needing to stone.

Curious what situation this guy comes in handy, as far as needing/wanting a S/S one? Is it good at PvP, or for some PvE strat? I am not seeing where I would use it, so I figured I would just lvl it to 25 and be done.

The S/S breed is currently one of the popular pets with a Death Adder Hatchling. and valk in pvp. You are basically using it as a stall pet with Blackout kick to buy more time for Haunt and Curse of doom to slowly eat your opponents.

One of its moves is a kick with a stun.
The stun only works if faster than the opponent.
So one would want the fastest type of this pet to take advantage of this.
It also has sandstorm which either complete negates dots on it and other pets or really lowers their damage done.
With humanoid healing, a stun, and a sandstorm the s/s version of this pet is a beast in pvp.

Oooh, didn't consider the S/S version. I got a P/P rare and went on my merry way last year.

10 Humanoid stones in my bag... LET'S DO THIS, RIO!
