buying new pets that is....im down to 7k and i need to save it for flying.

looking at my collection, do i have the requisite pets to be doing celestials when i get to timeless?

I have the same problem, I had a goal of 600kg before the drop of WoD, I was at about 360kg, and now I am at 88kg.
I would have to say I am an addict to pets.

I don't think the collecting EVER stops! I'm always constantly broke from buying pets. Never even made it over 100k gold because of my obsessive pet collecting!

Sadly you never truly get to stop, because there's always new pets on the horizon! (though I would prioritize something like paying for flying first, because it makes it easier to hunt for pets )

I'd be gold capped a few times over if I stopped buying pets and mounts and other shiny things, sigh.

oops...forgot cold weather flying as well. i need the fast flying with is 4,500 and im pretty sure theres another extra super fast ill need to get dragon mounts which is another 4,500

once i get those taken care of at 90....THEN ill get some new pets

Fairly sure there is only one expensive flying skill to buy, and that's the 4k-ish one that gives you 280% speed. You may be thinking of the faction you need exalted rep with to ride cloud serpents?

This is the reason I try to farm and trade as much as I can for pets, albeit a bit late in the expansion for most of the pets to be worth a 'decent' amount of money there are always people looking for pets and those that have just gotten unlucky...

I always found it a lot more rewarding grinding a pet and finally seeing it drop

One thing that helps with your pet obession is to actually become a pet trader. At 90 you can do all of the classic/BC/WotLK raids. Farm your pets! Sell the rest on the AH. Make an Engineer, JC, or Tailor...make some pets. I made a Hunter who is a JC/miner. I farmed the Ancient Guo-Lai Cache keys in Valley of Eternal Blossoms for about 4 hours...got several keys...got the two JC pet recipes (Jade Owl and Sapphire Cub). There a lot of ways to self-fund your efforts.

It's worse!! I haven't had a smoke for 9 years but after a 3 month break from WoW I was back pet leveling within minutes of logging in again, and within a week I'd spent £300 on Vanilla pet codes.
