The Fruit Hunter added in the most recent build comes from Mysterious Egg, found in Frostfire Ridge, atop a Rylak Roost at Grom'gar.
Moveset is Slicing Wind, Rain Dance, Liftoff, Peck, Flyby, Nocturnal Strike.

Thanks for posting mate.
Anyone who, like me, is wondering how you can see the pet in that pic, right click and "view image" hehe.

Re: Fruit Hunter drop location
Awesome find! Now I need to level a horde
Edit: Could you describe in more detail where the Rylak Roost is? I've traveled around Grom'gar but I've only run across flying Rylak, and none that are nesting.
Edit #2: I finally found the nests and the "Wiggling Egg" that dropped a Mysterious Egg. We'll see what pops out after the three days is up.
I have to wonder, though, what a tropical bird is doing in a cold environment like Frost Fire Ridge lol. Finding the Fruit Hunter seems a little odd to me. Unless all the Draenor "egg" pets can come from any egg, regardless of which zone the egg was looted from. We'll see.
Another concern: Is a pet guaranteed from the egg after three days? If not, that could be irritating. Treasure containers (such as the Wiggling egg) seem to only be lootable once per toon. This means if RNG plays a part in what drops we might need multiple characters to loot it just for a chance at whatever pet is inside.

Re: Fruit Hunter drop location
I'm unable to confirm whether or not its 100% drop, I've only gotten a single fruit hunter as of yet. Before the build they were added, all I got from eggs was Aged Yolk.
Re: Fruit Hunter drop location
Are they cageable after you learn it?
It could be quite a good pet to sell on the ah.

Re: Fruit Hunter drop location
At the moment the Fruit Hunter is currently listed as cageable on the beta. The journal entry for it is still incomplete though, so things could change before WoD is released.Simmias wrote:Are they cageable after you learn it?

Re: Fruit Hunter drop location
It seems to work similar to the Proto-Drake Whelp so there is a possibility that it's cageable as well.

Re: Fruit Hunter drop location
Small update on this pet: I've tested this multiple times (as have others), and it appears that the pet is 100% drop. It's a relief since each character can loot the egg only once
