Does anyone have the Bronze Whelpling pet yet?

I've completed the quest chain on 9 characters now, along with a little farming while waiting for UBRS queues, and no luck so far. I'm basically keeping an eye on the AH to see how far the prices will dip.

so wich breed is good for bronze whelping? i got 1 s/s and other p/p and i got both of them from the mobs on the mine near nethergarde keep

It has two moves that give and extra hit if faster so he s/s breed seems nice.
It also has some usual dragon moves that hit twice if slower so seems both breeds might be fun just make sure one uses the right moves based off the reed one has.

Nope, farmed for 2 hours with nothing. I'm too poor to buy it off the AH.

I farmed with my friend first without Rarity. Then my friend went off to make money from the AH and I think I farmed some more (maybe in total 1.5-2 hours), then manually set Rarity to track kills in Blasted Lands (hadn't been updated yet to track it). Got one 2 kills after that. x) I tried to get another one for my friend but my butt went numb after 700 more kills. They are surprisingly cheap now on the AH, so considering that time is money, we have bought a couple (or 4 :p) from the AH averaging maybe 5k each. Now both have P/P and S/S. Haven't seen any other breeds actually.

We farmed in front of the building where the last quest boss is. Can't remember the name of the place, but it had nice clumped spawns for fast aoe pulling.

I'd been farming the Orc keep for HOURS and HOURS with no luck.
If, like me, you've had no luck, go mining.
The mines below Nethergard keep have heaps of miners and quick respawns.
I got mine after 5 minutes in the mines.

I got mine. I got it while doing the questline, no farming. I was very happy about that.

I'm not sure if the breed add-on (I can't remember which one shows it) is all funky or the per itself, but when I learned my Bronze Whelpling it was S/S breed. Now it's H/S. Has anyone else has this happen?

Battle pet breed id doesnt have all the breed info yet. Best is really to verify the stats by using the pet pages here on site.

I don't know exactly what these mobs are called, but during the questline there is a part where you have to kill 5 almost invisible mobs near the main camp where Thrall is. I got mine off of one of those invis guys.

This can happen. In game there is no way to actually tell what breed something is. There is no API or anything else that says breed X/X. The add ons have to make educated guesses based on the level/quality and stats. Sometimes at low levels, especially at lower quality, multiple breeds can have the same stats and the add on can't tell them apart. I believe the one I use shows both possible breeds but others might pick one and display that one and it could be wrong. The breed didn't actually change the add on just got more info or changed it's guess. The wow armory API does include the info so a sight like this should always be right.

HS = 158 hp, 10 power, 12 speed (mod says "s/s" but that's wrong).
PP = 152 hp, 13 power, 10 speed (mod says "p/p" which happens to be right).
SS = 152 hp, 10 power, 13 speed
HP = 158 hp, 12 power, 10 speed (mod says "p/p" but it's actually HP)
There might be other breeds, not sure. I just pulled those out of blizzard's AH data from Illidan (in the raw ah data, blizz actually lists what breed each pet is).

And if you do bring up blizz's auction info, the field is "petBreedId" for each pet auction, and each following # corresponds to a breed (14 is PP, 15 SS, 17 HP, 19 HS; there's also gender info there, which is why there aren't just 8 or whatever #s).

Had to put my 2 coppers worth in..... Finally got mine today, no idea how many hours or kills, lost track of both.. but it did drop off a Ironmarch Forager, making circles in the Okril'lon Hold area. S/S Breed.

I got mine off of one of the ironmarch miners in the nethergarde mines after clearing the mine and the camp outside it both around four times, had also previously killed the elites outside dark portal for a few hours just to see if those would have bigger drop rate (didn't seem to!). Mine is also s/s which I am quite happy about as it allows for the really unique to dragon move set of arcane slash, crystal prison, lift-off to really shine. I got loads of slow high power dragons already anyway.

I had a second one drop off the Ogres while simply doing the quest chain again on another toon. So both of mine have come from the Ogres. Still got one more toon to run through the quest chain, then I'd have to farm. Both were S/S breed. I kept one and gave my kid the other because he couldn't seem to get one to drop. Honestly, I'll probably just live with that for collector value. Not sure I'll use him in battles.

I spent a solid hour and a half farming for this pet and managed to get 2. I sold both of them for some quick money and now I'm farming my third,,, going on 3 hours . should have kept one. /cry.

I was actually planning to buy it, waiting for it to become cheap ofcourse. But on the very last orc I killed on the quest chain, there it was!
