If you are BNet tag friended to someone on another server and they invite you to group with them you will get pulled to their server. Very handy for getting a chance to capture a rare spawn pet - when your friend lives on a low population server.

The other method for rare pet farming is to find a low population server (like one in the South America region), make a deathknight, and grind him up til he can fly. Then you can farm any rare pets in sub-outlands content with only a couple of hours put into it. That's how I ended up getting my H/H Minfernal.

Another strategy is to do the same on an Oceanic server if you're in the U.S. They are 12 hours ahead of us in time. Therefore, when it is primetime in the U.S., it is late at night on their server. Way less competition. I managed to get my second Minfernal and Unborn Valkyre on my Oceanic server without much effort at all.
