So ran a couple of fights with a Sandling. I got the distinct feeling that the Sandstorm no longer shielded it. Seemed like they lost that fix in the patch. I am pretty sure that both Imp Immolation and Infected Squirrel Creeping Fungus hit the Sandling for full amount. And MPD Thunderbolt hit the Sandling for about 190 while my two back line pets got hit for about 100.
Anyone else noticed this?

I tweeted the Crafticus about it and he at least saw it, so I am sure it will be fixed at some point again.

Still going on. I normally use Sandstorm to shield by carry pet against cyclone and swarm on Burning Pandaren and it isn't reducing damage at all.

it doesand not only on sandling, I was doing PvP and dots that should have been blocked or deal low dmg dealt full dmg on elemntal pets. (was fighing with my idol against pandaren earth spirit)
