I ended DMF with 2 Syds and 2 Darkmoon Eyes (across 2 accounts). That's RNG for ya!

I got Syd the day after I bought one on the AH (isn't that how it always works ). Anyway, I was able to sell it for the same price I paid (less AH fee) so it was a wash.

So, buy it on the AH to be sure you get it your next battle

This is actually exactly true for me as well, although, I took a 1k loss on the turn around.

I got my Syd on the 3rd day of the DMF I think. Still no Darkmoon Eye to this day... month after month of disappointment.
