Opinions on New Pets

Are there any of the new pets that are just amazing in battles or that have great utility to use a lot?

With so many new ones out there it is hard to get a personal gauge on them all so be nice to hear from everyone what the like and don't like, ability-wise, about the new pets.

I know I have faced the Corgi a couple times in battle and it has a herding ability that forces a lower health pet into battle. So far mostly just annoying but could be useful in a minefield/swap sort of thing.

Are we talking PvP or PvE?

If you're talking PvE, I've become a massive fan of the Axebeak Hatchling for grinding aquatics while leveling lowbies. That thing just shreds aquatics!
